Volunteer at the Fall Retreat

Listed below are some of the ways that you can get involved and volunteer to help out with the Fall Retreat. Each area needs volunteers willing to help out with any of the bulleted items. If you are interested please fill out the Volunteer Sign-Up Form below.


Pre-Registration

-  Help put together registration packets before the Retreat


Registration

-  Hand out registration packets at Rockbridge on Friday (shifts: sometime between 4:00pm –midnight)

   -  Hand out t-shirts


Greeters and Parking Team

-  Stationed near check-in and the hospitality room to greet people and make them feel welcome (shift: 4:00pm-midnight, except during general sessions)

-  Help direct people where to park


Activities

-  Bring decorations for game room

-  Help coordinate special activities (ex. bonfire, capture the flag, etc.)

-  Help coordinate County Fair activities on Saturday evening

-  Bring board games/cards for the hospitality room


Hospitality

-  Buy snack foods, water, hors d’oeuvres, ect.

-  Buy decorations for the room

-  Bring board games, card games, etc. for the room

-  Set up the food and decorations on-site (must be able to come to the Retreat early enough to set up before everyone else arrives)

-  Sign up for shift to check the Hospitality room to throw out any empty containers, re-stock food/drinks, and make sure the room still   looks nice (shifts on Friday and Saturday

-  Pack up food Friday night, and set it out again Saturday night

-  Pack up any left-over food Saturday night, and re-load food into the van to return to MBC
